Rotary Around the Globe

As a member of Rotary, you can help us create lasting change in communities around the world. We’re committed to taking on causes highly in need of our assistance. Rotary clubs across the globe work together to put individual members’ experience and knowledge to work tackling the world’s most pressing challenges. Our six focus areas are:

Promoting peace

Providing access to clean water and sanitation

Enhancing maternal and child health

Preventing diseases

Helping communities develop

Improving basic education and literacy

Since 1937, Rotary members have persevered in the fight against polio, and our clubs remain committed to ending polio in our lifetimes. Through dedication and years of hard work, the disease has been eradicated in all but three countries in the world.

When people give to Rotary, the money is used to support the work our club does in our community and around the world. We are responsible with our funds and use 90 percent of our funding for program expenses. Dollar given to rotary truly make a difference.
